Many people in our state are not having proper scientific knowledge. Even educated people are not having proper scientific knowledge. In modern era also there are many people who believe superstitions like black magic(chetabadi or banamati or chillangi), ghosts, super human powers(manavateeta saktulu or ateendriya saktulu), astrology, vaasthu etc etc. Babas, magicians and horror televisions programmes are promoting these superstitions very well. In science, we can see many wonders. For example in light there are different types of rays. Normal light, ultra violet rays, infrared rays, X-rays, LASER rays, gama rays etc. Ultra violet rays, LASER rays, x-rays can pass into human body. Gama rays can even pass through iron. I learned computer hardware. At first i learned computer hardware in a computer training institute. In institutes they teach basic knowledge on computer hardware. If we want learn in deep level, we should purchase and read books. If we learn too deep about modern computer hardware, we find some unbelievable wonders about functioning of internal parts of computers. Computer is also creation of science. Now i am learning multimedia in a computer training institute in our nearby town. With multimedia softwares we can create wonderful graphics. Graphics in horror television serials are created by computer only. Many wonders are found in science. We cannot create wonders by magic or super human powers. There is no need to believe superstitions by seeing graphics in television serials or magic tricks played by babas.

I am trying to collect some material (books, articles etc) and post as well as write on science topics for the commoner. I will come back to this topic after collecting some material and contacting a few more people. Pleace check Kodavaganti Rohiniprasad's articles in AP Weekley and may be comment on them and other articles if you see some. Many older books and translations of Russian books may be available with Visalandhra Publishing House shops and Navodaya. I think that there is an organization Jana Vignana Vedika (?) which published a few books in science matters and fighting superstition.

Jana Vignana Vedika is trying some thing better for fighting against superstitions. I also watched programmes with leaders of Jana Vignana Vedika in TV9 news channel.

Most of the books related to science and technology are written in english. Unfortunately many people in our country are in bhava daridryam that english is against their mother toungue. Language bigots like ABK Prasad, Madugula Nagaphani Sarma etc are best examples for it.
