YS Raja Sekhara Reddy is planning to bring a change in reservation policy. He want to give 4% reservations to poor people of forwards communities. Raja Sekhara Reddy agreed that in caste based reservations, same families are enjoying reservations for 2 or 3 generations. Poor people of forward communties gone far from development. I think 4% reservations are not enough for poor people of forward communities. Population of forward communities in Andhra Pradesh(including muslims) is around 35%. Nowadays many people of forward communities are becoming poor by reasons like growth of population, world bank policies, natural calamities etc. Andhra Pradesh government is giving 46% reservation on caste criteria. Those 46% jobs should be given only to people whose family income do not exceed Rs 50,000 per year. Just providing 4% reservation to poor people of forward communities is not satisfiable.
