Communism also advocates freedom of women. In India, women who do jobs and businesses are less. In China, around 60% of the people who do jobs are women only. Indian communists are also advocating freedom of women from long time. In 1945, famous communist leader named Bheemreddy Narasimha Reddy married a widow named Saroja. He was born in village Karvikala near Tungaturti in Nalgonda district. Many people in our country do not agree to marry widows. Even in urban areas, many people follow that taboo. Our communist leaders oppose that taboo because they give equal respect to men and women.

Here women are having just 33% reservations in jobs. 33% opportunities are not enough for women. 50% opportunities give real benefit for women.

Widow remarriages were more in period of British rule. Nowadays widow remarriages are less. Many people used to come forward to marry widows and also encourage their sons to marry widows in those days. But nowadays cinemas and tele serials are disgracing widows by showing them removing bindi and bangles.

Woman liberty is nothing to do with communism. It is more to do with education and jobs and total financial independence. If you really want to see woman liberty, it is the West that sets better examples. I can't recall a communist country headed by a woman. Only handful of them even reached the top echelons of their respective govt. Where as we have former british prime minister Margaret Thatcher that ruled Britain at the most critical time in the post war era. Then we have Canada, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Philippines, Bangladesh all non-communist countries.
