Government must setup english medium schools

Minister Nedurumalli Rajaya Lakshmi planned to make government schools as english medium. But she dropped the plan by opposition of some fools. So called telugu language lovers are saying that english medium schools will spoil telugu culture. That arguement is completely baseless. I studied in english medium school but i speak telugu fluently. Job opportunities are more for them who study in english medium schools. People who talk so much about telugu culture also send their children to english medium schools only and they give free suggestions to others that telugu medium education is only better.

I studied in english medium school. In my childhood days i used to commute daily to Vizianagaram from my village by bus and study in english medium school. English medium schools must be setup in every village.

Most of my relatives studied in telugu and oriya medium schools. Because their villages are not having english medium schools. My maternal uncle Viswasarai Lakshmana Rao is first person in our relatives group to study in english medium school. He belong to village Vanduva in Srikakulam district. In those days english medium schools were very less in Srikakulam district. He was admitted in hostel in Vizianagaram for english medium education. He studied upto B.Com(accounting). He tried some times for job and he settled in agriculture in his village. But he sent his sons to telugu medium school. He wanted to admit his elder son in engineering college. But his elder son refused for engineering study due to inadequacy of english knowledge. It is difficult to study engineering and other technical courses without proper knowledge on english. My father studied in oriya medium school in Rayagada district. In his childhood days also there were english medium schools in Rayagada district but they were less. Due to high amount of fees, his father did not admit him in english medium school. Now also my father speaks english with syntax errors.
