direct road and train link to Mumbai form vizag

Hi, vizagites,

Vizag the most important city between chennai- howrah is neglected by the railways and highways. We need to see that vizag is connected to Mumbai ( mancherial by road as well as rail via. Narsipatnam, chennur etc. through the eastern ghats. Mancherial is on the chennai- new delhi line and mancherial -nizamabad rail line is being connected now. nizamabad is directly linked to mumbai via. Nanded).

Vizag can be connected to mumbai via.mancherial, nizamabad, nanded if the above project materialises. This offers a shortest route to mumbai at 1000km, and hig way if linked to Rajiv high way at mancherial will connect secunderabad at 490 km.

No politician eighther from vizag or north andhra donot even know the above, i request all vizagites rise their voice on this and a big agitation like VSP only solves this problem. Vizag if connected like above will also solve the naxal problem as this lifeline will develop north andhra and north telengana which our politicians does n't want.

I think the Golden Quadrilateral Project is related with this. The National Highways are to be extended as a part of it. The project began when Vajpey came to power but was since then going on without any great developments.

I think the new Government will show some interest in this and take up the file and make the project a grand suceess. Then automatically Vizag will get the road lines.

The topic of direct road and train link to Mumbai from vizag has no connection at all with your golden quadrangular project rather misleading the people. Golden quadrangular project connects only super metros and vizag & Mumbai are not part of it. Please also note that this project was started in PV regime and Vizag - Anakapalli a 40 KM, 4- way road been laid in 1996, besides several connection in the country and Vajpai gov't has only kept advertisement boards with Vajpayee 's picture at more than 2 places in Vizag telling people that the already laid road in 1996 in PV's regime has been laid by NDA. People of Vizag are very cool and silently kicked out NDA in recently concluded elections:lol:

firstly i dont understand, why would we be needing a direct road line between vizag and mumbai, is it going to benifit vizag or mumbai strategically?
we dont have any inter state business intrests with mumbai.
apart from that, mumbai and vizag has got few things in common
and one of them is PORT,
so i feel that rather than connecting mumbai and vizag ....which leads to nothing, i feel all the other industrially potential places should be connected with either vizag or mumbai, depending on how geographically they are placed
also Golden Qualdriletaral( is not the only project on R&B, the project includes, great axis, and interlinkage) just connecting four metroes, it is strategically connecting all the places in India, please get your details corrected,
would like to hear from your side
