Dear Friends,

Decision by Rajashekar Reddy Government to give reservations for muslims is very unfortunate.

Hinduvula lo peda prajalu lera? Vari welfare ee government ki akkaraleda? Already muslims lo konni castes ki reservation vundi adi kakunda inka 5% reservation kavala?

Muslims lo education takkuva ga vunda taniki valla mata bodhana le karanamu. Vallu sthree lanu chadu ko nivvaru, chaduvu kunna musugu vesu koni intlo koocho peda tharu. Non-Muslim la tho kalisi pani cheyataniki mulim mathamu encourage cheyadu. Ilanti bhavalunte yela develope avutharu? 1947 varaku Hyderabad valla paripana lone vundi. Reservations for muslims give little benefit. In muslims, women who get educated higher than school education and do jobs or businesses are less. Gender discrimination is also reason for economical backwardness in muslims. If government is really intrested in benefiting muslims, first they should try to remove gender discrimination from muslim families.

The recent announcement of reservations based on religion by YSR govt and subsequent matching promises by TDP to be not left behind is turning out to be a dangerous game. The way that the two parties are competing, pretty soon they will destroy any competency in education and employment. With their foolish policies they are creating a tectonic fault in our society. Sooner or later these inconsistencies will tear the fabric of our society.

No doubt poor people across the society need to be given a helping hand, but a quota based on religion is plummeting the caste/religion based politics to a new low. The need of the hour is to replace current caste based politics with a criteria based on economics. Instead they are digging a hole deeper and deeper and it will be impossible to extricate ourselves from this madness.

Regarding politics by name of caste and religion, both TDP and Congress are equal. Basical difference is Congress is pro agriculture party and TDP is only for implementing world bank policies. Religious fundamentalism is main reason for backwardness of muslims. Giving reservations to them rather than trying to remove fundamentalism is really bad.
