12 peacocks dead by drinking contaminated water at village Mamidipalli near Konaraopet in Karimnagar district. Pesticides used by farmers mixed in water in agricultural fields and peacocks died by comsuming that water. It is one of the examples of effect of pollution on wild life. Post mortem reports are saying that peacocks died 1 or 2 days ago.

In our country farmers use excessive pesticides for crops. Farmers are only responsible for peacocks death. Government should warn farmers not to use excessive pesticides for crops.

Sircilla area forest ranger Mohhammed Khader Mohiddin said that pesticides are not reason for death of peacocks. Those peacocks died with lung disease. National bird peacock is also in the list of endangered birds. We should also try to save peacocks from endangering.
