Often increasing diesel prices are worsely effecting APS RTC. CM YS Raja Sekhara Reddy is saying that he dont want to increase bus fares even diesel prices are increasing. It is good decision but they should find alternative ways for saving APS RTC.

It is better for RTC to run bio diesel busses. Indian Railways is running trains with bio diesel in some zones. RTC must also start using bio diesel.

APS RTC's losses can be cured even without reducing diesel prices. Indian Railways is using high speed diesel which is costlier than normal diesel. But rail travel is @ cheap cost and they are getting less losses. Railways get losses mainly by ticket less travels and accidents. Policies of government on APS RTC is main reason for losses. They are following many diwala policies like Motor Vehicles taxation, running hired busses instead of purchasing new busses, free passes etc.
